Teenage Boy Struck by SUV - Sept. 27, 2012

An injured 14-year-old boy struck while riding his bike, is treated by paramedics as a female witness points in the direction the vehicle that struck him was traveling to Manchester Police Officer Richard Monge, just minutes after the accident, on Center Street in Manchester, Thursday evening, Sept. 27, 2012. The accident happened around 7:20 at the intersection of Edgerton Place. Medics from Manchester Fire, Rescue and EMS treated the boy for a possible broken femur to his right leg and for head injuries, he was alert and communicating  to emergency personnel.  The boys  bicycle laid just feet away,  his two shoes laid about 10 feet apart in the roadway.
