Vernon Pick-up Truck Accident - Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2012

Vernon Police Officer Aaron Grechko, uses a rope to get back up from an embankment after a pick up truck went through a guard rail and went into the woods, Wednesday night, Oct. 10, 2012, in Vernon. The accident happened just before 9:30 on West Street at the intersection with  South Street. Police found the man had managed to get out of the vehicle before they arrived, the pick up truck was about 25 feet down heavily wooded embankment. Thee man was up and walking around after the accident talking to police but was transported by the Town of Vernon Fire Department Ambulance for evaluation. (Jim Michaud/Journal Inquirer)
